KCDC Nuraply 3PM

Kapiti Coast District Council Adminsitration Building Refurbishment

A $9.2m project over a 10-month build programme, the existing two-storey Council building was stripped back to its bare bones to enable seismic strengthening and redevelopment of the complex. A third of the original building was replaced and a new extension added with a full interior fitout. The LIG (Large Internal Gutter) shown here marks the transition between the old existing structure and the new addition. The wider overhanging roofs/ledges at the rear of the building were part of the original structure, the roof/ledge with the plinths is new.
