TPO Dormers

This house in it’s current condition is valued at $1.45million, primarily because of it’s location in one of Wellington’s premier suburbs. The only thing between the house and the beach is a laneway and a small grassed park area.
The house is being totally renovated, inside and out, exterior work includes new cladding on one side, new metal roof, new aluminium windows, re painting and the addition of 3 new Dormers.
Enviroclad TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) (Carlile) from Viking Roofspec was chosen as the membrane for the Dormer roofs.
When the wind is from the North it can be quite strong, so all the roofing spec’s are for the highest wind zone category. You may note in the photos where the new metal roof is shown the extra large washers under the screws.
