KPAC

ARDEX WPM 3000X (Shelterseal 3000X) is a self adhesive bituminous waterproofing membrane self protected by a cross-laminated HDPE film.
The high-density polyethylene film gives to the membrane characteristics of dimensional stability and ensures a uniform reaction to elongation stresses in a longitudinal and transversal direction.
This membrane has been designed and developed for the specific damp proofing of vertical walls, foundations, basements, flat and ventilated roofs.

This Project.
Ardex Shelterseal 3000X used as a waterproof membrane under the floors and foundations of a new building in Kapiti.
Single layer loose laid and lapped on the sand floor base and 2 layers self adhered to the sub walls and footing sides.
Tefond protection sheet installed before backfilling.
No ground drainage coil used on this site, based on the well graded, compact, silty sand geology.

Lift Pit

Orchestra Pit
